Do what YOU want to do. if it makes YOU self-conscious or makes you feel bad about yourself and if you feel you'd be happier after getting it done then do it. don't do it for other people.

I kinda like the gap, maybe I'm weird, but I think certain people suit a bit of a gap. Ultimately it's about your confidence, but I think it's kinda cute.

I think it's cute. It makes you stand out. Plus I always think about the models who also have gaps and usually those uniques characteristics is what makes them stand out

If you feel comfortable with it now then don't have it closed. I have a gap and I was never teased for it but instead it has been embraced by complete strangers via positive compliments. I thought about closing it and actually had my denist pull up some advance imaging to show what my smile would look like with it closed. It looked ok but it took away a bit of my uniquiness. I like being unique. And friends and family have all told me to not touch it. I'm 40 and I'm so beyond being concerned with folks who think its unattractive. I just rock it...big smile and all.

I have a gap in my teeth and it use to annoy me when I was younger but now I don't mind. I feel like it makes me, me! All my friends had braces and they all have the same teeth now. I feel a bit individual. If you feel that it will make you more confident or happy then go for it! Only do what's best for you!

You have a beautiful smile and are lovely period. I think your gap makes you...well... you! ;) However, if it bothers YOU, then change it. Just do it for you and nobody else.
I used to have nice teeth till an accident broke most of my front teeth and the repair work was done poorly; so, I understand feeling self-conscious about one's smile.

Awe I think your diastema is cute. Soo many people no-a-days are getting braces for cosmetic reasons. This would be that reason, in which case nose insurance won't cover the cost even in partial. The only way insurance covers braces on adults is if their teeth are over crowded and interfere with their bite. That all being said, your diastema isnt that bad at all! I've seen way worse! And so many people have "perfect" teeth which I find unattractive because it seems unnatural.
Rock your smile as is sweetie, only you can wear it!

Your perfect the way you are but if you want to change it don't do It for anyone, do it for yourself, if you do feel self conscious and you think it would make it better for you go head
