Exfoliating with a good face scrub with help a lot. Also wear sunscreen to keep the sun from further darkening your spots. Honey & lemon juice mask helps to lighten as well. Hope that helps.

Agree with wearing sunscreen & seeing a dermatologist for it. I have whiteheads on my chin that have been there for years :( I have to disagree with the use of lemon & honey. lemon shouldn't be applied to your face & if you decide to do honey spot test first. some people have bad reactions to it.

Could be milia don't pop! They're like cysts. Lemon will not help; be wary of lemon on your face, anyway. The wrong dilution can wreak havoc in this coloring your skin. Good luck. Oh, look for a 2% salicylic acid cleanser/ exfoliant and use it like a mask, letting it sit on skin a few minutes before cleansing.

I agree with Kat. If it's severe, definitely go to a derm. If not try a gentle non-acne face wash, a non-oily moisturizer and a spot treatment. And as mentioned, don't pick at them, pop them or use lemon on your face. I like CeraVe's moisturizer and have heard good things about their face wash. I don't really have a favorite spot treatment because my acne was too severe and none ever worked much. I did like Philosophy's although it's pricey.
