A lot of people say that the maybelline baby skin isn't a primer. I don't really have any recommendation for a drugstore primers. I can give you a high end if you like. What's your skin type (oily, combo, dry, normal)?

Well, I personally don't know much about face primers, but in terms of eyeshadow primers, I love the Urban Decay. Some people don't, but I find that it makes my lids very smooth and even, and makes it easier to sweep eyeshadows on. It also holds my eyeshadow on for entire days, which for me can mean anywhere from 12-19 hours. I've also tried and loved Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I actually quite like this, it has a thicker texture than the Urban Decay, but it holds incredibly well, it is almost tacky in a way that holds the shadows on.

I love the Urban Decay Original Primer, the formula is great and it has never failed to amaze me. As for face primers, I recommend the Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro face primer, you can get it from pretty much any drugstore. Next I would recommend the Smashbox Photo Finish Face Primer, and my fave right now is the Coastal Scents Beginnings Face Primer. I really like all the primers I listed but for face the Coastal Scents trumps the others in my opinion. Hope this helped and have a marvelous day!!:)))))

Try primers from Smashbox - the original, oil-free face primer is awesome. Their eyelid primer is amazing too, it's the best I've ever used. They have a 24 hour eyelid primer that I'm itching to get my hands on. But since I've been broke lately, I've been using NYXs' eyelid primer, in the skin tone shade. It works well.

My favorite for eye primer right now is Urban Decays Original Primer Potion. For face primer my all time favorite is Benefits Porefessional.

The urban decay primer potions have all worked great for me! I personally love the one called "sin" because it gives a nice shimmery base and sometimes I don't even put eyeshadow over it because it's so pretty. As far as face primers go, the maybelline baby skin works pretty well but I notice that makeup still sinks into my pores and makes it look a little odd. Also, the garnier 5 second blur I think it's called...is very similar and also works pretty well.
