It's hard to tell but it looks fine to me. Contour your face with it and see if you like the way it looks on you! I hate when people get
Technical about contouring and tell others what products to use or not use, makeup isn't supposed to have boundaries. Try it out and if you like it keep it if you don't like the way it looks return it!

Brittany I get what your saying but anyone can do what they want but contour sculpting powder is different the color, the texture, the finish. So unless you have tried a sculpting powder yourself the explanation would have been different see anyone who actually tried a sculpting powder would have a different explanation and could actually see the difference but if a person hasn't then of course they would compare it to anything else just like some do with shoes/heels but don't notice the quality.I say what I say because It's what I do and I think everyone should have the right to find the right product to use to help them achieve what they're looking for then having people walk around with lets just be honest Poop streaks on the side of their cheek. :) So ladies if you want to know the difference by all means buy a sculpting kit it's simple and compare that with the bronze.Samar that color does look orange Keep it grey like your shadow.

Smash box use to have a wonderful sculpting kit but they discontinued it :/ it was a 3 sculpt step which was perfect. I'm on the look out for a new one and jackie said MUFE has a great one I'm going to try out. What didn't you like about Kevyn Aucoin sculpt?

I'll check it out then! I'm really quite pale in the face and I feel like it just makes me look like I have burnt sideburns haha are you familiar with the tom ford shade and illuminate duo? I'd really like to see some reviews on it!!

I use the Kevyn Aucoin one currently and have almost hit about half way, I do like it. But even I enjoy a bronzer more than a grey toned contour occasionally depending on the look I'm going for. I'm not asking her to slather orange all over her face, I simply think she should try it and see what SHE likes better since everyone here goes batsh*t when you even mention bronzer on or around the cheekbones, and I didn't want her to be completely scared away from it. There are no rules in makeup, only guidelines.

Brittany I understand what your saying and it could be that some read the info and just want to press it to be in the know of it (Don't let that get to you) but that is why I always say watch how people explain product or technique and if there is five people saying the same thing using the SAME words then it's because it's not from experience it's because it was read from info they learned on another's thread. I'm all for people learning I think it's great that all are but some should be genuine with the info and as for bronze hey I'm not against it but I'm not for it used for contour because it's me and my years in makeup.I say makeup is Art, but even Artist have to sell paintings to make a living and that is why we have Art school we learn, we grow, we achieve the grand finish with the rules & guidelines that come to play like any other thing so when people say hey it's just makeup or there is No rules, I find that a bit silly because it's what I do and I accomplish and work hard at it.I think all should be able to soak up info to better a look or technique I rather give honest feed back versus letting someone walk around with Poop streaks lol Sculpting,Blush,Bronze can be a triple complete finish to a look but bronze is by choice to what you want. Thanks for the chat ladies :)

Okay so I see a lot of people recommending gray cool tones... what brands would you recommend (high end or drugstore) that meet up to effect?

NYX Taupe Blush is a lovely contour product! It's a matte taupey brown color that definitely creates the look of a shadow and isn't warm at all.
