Thank you :) it took a little over two hours
And I absolutely love them! I have 120 colours and they're amazing, highly pigmented and incredibly blendable. The reason I got into makeup actually :)

Yes same thing:) they were European and that's their American name. Absolutely wonderful brand!

That looks freaking amazing! The attention to detail is absurd, and the flowers are great! I guess my only critique is that your face has so much going on, I'd leave the butterfly out since the bottom half is already filled with fine flowers. But other than that, I love it!

Hi Brittany,I know you asked for thoughts on your look but I want to be sure if your up for truthful helpful suggestions before I leave information.

I'll definitely keep that in mind Bash :)

I'm sorry I made you nervous lol but I had to ask before I made a few suggestions and my honest opinion about the look.First I like to say I think it's wonderful your trying something new and I appreciate the attempt on face art.I however must admit I wasn't quite sure what you were aiming for, everything seem off which if this is your first time trying a look like this could be understandable.I don't see dimension or depth in the look it's flat and looks like a crowded maze going every which way.I think you need to draw it out first on paper and get the hang of shadowing and understand how lighting hits areas of the face and that will help you with color technique as well because those are the most important to help create a great effect to the look versus looking like a party face painter that's in a hurry.I hope you understand what I mean if this is your interest by all means keep pushing I'm all for keep going at it and I would rather have someone improve a look versus just sit back and watch you not get helpful feed back. :)

No no I actually really appreciate criticism. Just a few questions to be more clear :)
•what do you mean by crowded maze? Too much detail or no focal point?
•I'm more of an artist, so I completely understand what you mean by adding value when it comes to a drawing or painting- but is it any different when it comes to the face? Any difference I should know that might help me be more accurate in these face painting type attempts?

Ok great to know Brittany.Well the meaning of crowded maze is everything was cluttered with no separation of what was what, no detail at all it just laid flat and It didn't provide where it was going.I think it's great to have a bunch of things going on the face but I think you need to highlight areas to show dimension, the best example is to look at Airbrush Graffiti Art and you'll noticed that if even crowded you still can see what's going on and the colors pop out to help show detail. You want to be able to understand the areas on your face to figure placement as well as how light would hit your face to figure out where you want to highlight and shadow the art.You say your more of an Artist which is a plus and should help along the way, you just need to transfer what you put on paper to your face. :) Here are a few Graffiti pic's I would like you to look at and hope this gives you a better understanding on what I'm trying to explain.

I'm sure after looking at these picture's you'll get it :) Look at the placement of the color's

I definitely see where I could've chosen more complimentary colours to create depth and contrast, and I tried to use more highlights and contours but I don't think it showed up as well as I would've liked it to on such small details. Definitely something to practice on! Thank you so much :)
