I was taking my mascara off and a chunk of lashes came out. I'm just wondering how long they'll take to grow back and how I can make it less noticeable. Any suggestions?

I think for starters we need to examine what made them fall out to prevent a reoccurrence. Do you curl your lashes after applying mascara, sleep in mascara, experienced other hair loss or tried any new lash or eye products?

Ugh. I just had that happen to me when I was removing my mascara today. covergirl lashblast bombshell volume. worst mascara ever. at least I didn't have to pay for it. try using an easy to remove mascara for the next few weeks to prevent further tugging at the lashes when removing the mascara.

Agree with Rozberry. & PLEASE do not apply Vaseline to your lashes. that is one of the biggest beauty myths that doesn't work. it seals in bacteria & can lead to an eye infection. it doesn't do any good for lash growth, as it's genetic.

I agree with Kat. Nothing but a prescription like Latisse can grow lashes, but you can use Organic Coconut Oil to condition your lashes. Cold Pressed Coconut Oil has natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It will soften your lashes by sealing moisture in and keep them from becoming brittle and breaking. Try and switch perhaps to an all natural mascara that is not drying and avoid waterproofs for a bit. Tarte has fabulous, natural mascara that shouldn't dry you out. I wouldn't worry, but I would do my best to find out what is going on and why the sudden loss.

Vaseline can do some nasty stuff to your eyes. Don't put it anywhere near them!

I think I pulled too hard on them when removing my mascara.

I use Organic Coconut Oil to remove my eye make up. Lumene also makes a great one that even removes waterproof mascara by blotting it with a cotton ball.
