Lol chenel beat me. oh also after you trim the ends a good way to keep split ends down for much longer than normal is you can take like an inch of hair, twist it one way (this makes lots of the split ends stick out) you just trim all the little split ends. then twist it the other way and do the same. you do this to all your hair. it does take a lil while :( but I've seen a huge differnce in how long I could go without a trim. so I think its worth it. but I still suggest trimming it every 3 months at most. if you learn to do it yourself. it will save you big bucks :)

anywho one more thig is this shampoo and conditioner I got a free sample of is pantene repair and protect. I've never had hair products work this well. I literaly was thinking one day "I really need to trim my hair" then this came in the mail the same day, I used it that night, and when I woke up and looked at my hair I felt like I could go another 3 weeks without a trim! like for reals, you need to try it!!
and its super cheap. I got mine at walmart for like 4 bucks each.

I don't recommend trimming your hair on your own, and here's why: professionals use professional scissors, which are extremely sharp. Because of this sharpness, they don't leave split ends, which normal scissors most certainly do, as they're not nearly as sharp. One woman on here commented that she's a professional, and if she happens to cut herself with her scissors during a haircut, she doesn't even notice, that's how sharp her scissors are. Whether or not people on Youtube do, with normal scissors, I still do not recommend it, if you'd like your hair to be healthy.

You can buy the same scissors they use online or in some salons. if yolearn how to trim your own correctly and keep them sharp you can do it just as good as a salon just take precaution and learn how to properly.

Just like Hannah said...we use sharp scissors to prevent split ends. I've cut thru my finger so bad before that I actually have nerve damage in one small spot, and didnt even feel a thing. sharp scissors are important. if your just looking for a trim then I would sugest a walk in place that offers in expensive cuts. or even a beauty school.
