I wash my thick straight hair once a week and only sometimes blow dry those times. My hair has been bleached and colored with Aveda yet it is really dead and lifeless. I use EverPure Moisture Mask and the EverPure Shampoo to no avail, I wonder if I use too much mask because I feel like my hair is heavier but not anymore moisturized! I am thinking of going to Sally's.

You can always try going into your kitchen if you have any olive or coconut oil. Just put it in your dry hair and cover with a shower cap for a couple hours or overnight then wash it out. It always make my hair super silky and smooth afterward.

Thanks Traci,-and it won't weigh my hair down?

I don't think so, you shampoo most of it back out. Avoid putting a lot on the roots and you should be good.

No it won't weigh it down. I use coconut oil on my hair regularly and it leaves it silky and soft :)

Maybe get your ends trimmed first. Then use pure good cocnut oil in your hair put a shower cap on n if you can leave it in over night wash it out in the morning. Do this once a week....

I really think thinks it's the bleach and color and not sure there's a lot you can do :( I went back to dark brown from light brown/dark blonde and it was the only way to repair the damage. My hair looked like straw before LOL.

I'm afraid you are right Maggie F. (My hair was just trimmed), I was hoping there was some magical formula. I will try the coconut though- sounds like it can't hurt. Thank you ladies.
