Start by wearing less bold colors- maybe a grey/brown liner and a grey or clear mascara... Then, wear that alternated with a litltle bit of a bolder look every other day. Then, wear the less bold colors every other day and an even less bold one- then, finally do makeup every other.

Hey Skye!
I had the same problem a few months ago so I see where you're coming from!! I have a very fair complexion & blonde eyelashes. Whenever I decided not to wear makeup, I always got comments on how "different" I looked and at first that bothered me. One day, I was contemplating whether makeup was worth my time EVERY day for school (don't get me wrong, I love it!! But sometimes it's a hassle in the AM) so I asked my best friend (who happens to be a guy and also my crush <3) what he thought. He said:
"yes, you do look very different without it, but you should present yourself with confidence no matter how you look from day to day because it's all part of what makes you uniquely you! It's more important to your true friends that you're happy with who you are inside than how you appear daily"
I thought it was very sweet and well put. :) Now, if there is a day I feel like skipping out on all of the cosmetic stuff: I just DO! Because the people who really matter won't care, and the people who care don't really matter! <3 However, If you're really nervous about it and you'd like to be gradual; Laura's advice is really good. Start by switching over to a brown or grey pencil eyeliner (if you're currently using liquid or gel) and from there you can make it more and more subtle. Good luck darling! Remember you're beautiful no matter what <3

Don't even pay attention to this, the first time I didn't wear makeup to school my "best friend" told me "oh, you do need makeup" and I was like yo, idgaf.

If you are truly uncomfortable, you can gradually wear less makeup so that the transition becomes seamless...sort of like "Just For Men" hair products. "Wait...wasn't he grey 72 hours ago?" ;)
