Has anyone used this real techniques brush to apply the Kat Von D lock it foundation? Did it work well?

I haven't, but I've owned those brushes. I wouldn't recommend using the powder brush unless you're using the powder foundation, since it's really big and fluffy. Otherwise, go for the expert face brush for the liquid foundation.

Agree w/ the expert face brush. Much more dense & shorter bristles to really work in the foundation.

Expert face brush is amazing! Powder brush is amazing too...but for powder :) You're going to want something more dense to help buff in the foundation, like other ladies said the Expert Face Brush is amaZing!

You would definitely want to use the Expect Face brush or the other gold handled buffing brush. That powder brush isn't dense enough.
