Or do the Fresh Sugar lip balms not last long at all? I bought one about 2 weekends ago and I'm already down to less than half a stick!! And this is the full size, not the mini. I don't feel like I over-apply it. Usually just a few times a day. But here I am, already making plans to set aside money for another. Am I doing something horribly wrong here? Lol.

I really wish they were half the price so I could buy 2 for $20. I love it but at this rate I'm sad to say I don't think I'll be able to keep this in my makeup bag very often.

Eyeslipsface has one for three dollars. I haven't been able to try it because it always seems to be out of stock online, so I'll assume it's great lol. The trick is to just try and snag one or look in your local kmart or target

I'll have to see about that one. I think I'm going to pick up some of the Jack Black lip balm today. It's about $7.50 and I've heard its amazing. I love the fresh one but it just goes too fast. Its crazy to say, but I don't have a problem paying $20 for lip balm, but it needs to last me more than 2 weeks lol

@Shelley I don't feel like I have to re-apply too much, but that when I do apply it literally just melts into my lips and then a few uses later its down to half a stick or less. Very sad because I truly enjoy this product.

@Manasi I don't think its melting, I make sure to keep it out of my pocket for that reason. I think the product is just too soft :/ usually that would be good but not in this case I guess

They are VERY soft lip balms, I think that is the issue. So soft that once I apply, a lot goes on my lips. I've had both my minis since July and haven't used them up though. Then again, I've also lost them a few times too....

Oh wait, I did mostly up use the original one. But the rose is still going.

@Emma you should just be able to go to Sephora and tell them its your birthday and they'll give you it. Or whatever the gift is at that point. I'd imagine it would stay the same for a bit. You can get it with your online order around your birthday too. I think it's good for a week or so after your birthday too. So you don't have to get it on the actual day.

@Emma Forgot to add that you'll probably want to bring your beauty insider card, you'll probably need it to prove its your birthday. And I don't believe you have to purchase abything to get it, although I did both times I received gifts. I just added them on to my order at checkout

you could depot it in a tiny jar? thats the best idea i got so you can see how much u wanna use. i got these too (the minis) for my birthday, i got two of them and one of them broke on me:/, i use the another one to put on top of lipstick lol

I personally don't think it lasts long on your lips. I got the free bday set and ive been using the tinted one lately but it really comes off so easily.

I use them up like crazy too!! They have the awesome holiday sets for a pretty awesome price. I know I also love rosebud salve that they sell got like 6. I know for 7 they have a minted rose and strawberry lip balm. Their fabulous and cone in adorable vintage tins. :)

I would get the holiday set if you could customize it so I could get all clear ones lol. I don't really care for the tinted ones. I tried the mini rose that I got for the birthday gift and it smelled nice but it bled all over the rest of my mouth and just looked awful.

I've heard of the rosebud salve. They have a strawberry one? I didn't know that. I don't particularly love rose scented things, unless it's subtle and not cheap smelling lol. So I may have to check out the strawberry one. I just ordered one of the Jack Black lip balms though, after hearing so much about them and how they're apparently amazing. I hope it is. As I've said before I would love to keep buying the sugar balms but unless they drop the price/make them last longer/I end up filthy rich overnight I don't think I can keep them as my go to balm.

I've considered putting it in a little jar, but I like it being in the tube because its more sanitary and convenient. I tried to carry my philosophy lip therapy which is in a jar around as my lip balm during the day but it was a pain. I don't like the idea of sticking my fingers into the jar when I'm out and about. I use that one before bed exclusively now because then I know my hands are clean because I wash my face before. And sadly I don't think the jar would make a difference with how much is used. Its so soft I think you're pretty much guaranteed to get more than you want no matter the method :/

this balm is just a pain! it's a shame it's so good. if it wasn't I would really hate it because its such a hassle to keep it on hand
