OMG I'm seriously frikin jealous? Sydney? In Australia? 😍 but anywho , I would just pack a lot of dresses and some shorts in case of more windy days , I would say it would be more warm there. More of a comfortable feeling type of dress/clothes too... Stuff that won't ride up , have to fix a lot , anything that might get on your nerves since I'm guessing you will be walking a lot , sight seeing and such 😊

It will be winter there in August. Chilly with strong winds. So definitely no shorts. You can pull off dresses but you would wear thick coats and booties. It's up to you though.

Nope, definitely chilly! Jeans and boots, but you wouldn't need thick jackets as such, it's not snow country.

Dresses by itself with cardigans will do? And pair them with sneakers will it be tolerable?

I would try some boots so your legs don't get cold😊

Yeah will definitely be on the cold side, so bring cardigans, jeans, and boots

Vinaa, dresses paired with sneakers? Hmm...that sounds like Parisian. Lol. Well, if it looks good on you, why not.

Its cold on some days but then it could be hot so pack a variety AND NEVER FORGET A JUMPER OR PANTS!

Also, if you want to wear sneakers, I suggest pair it with a sweater (man-sized or baggy or just a reg sweater), then leggings (whether leather or knit). For coats or jackets, their trend has been revamped. A buttery black coat is in mixed with a pop of color as seen on AU's runway '14 from Valentino or Alexander McQueen, urban prints and geometric shapes for sweaters from Kenzo. Like Australians say, plain is out and colour is in. Take a look of these trends and see if you like it. Remember, it's all about being comfy and keeping you warm.

Stocking, leggings, jeans. Leather skirts maybe. August is chilly coz we get some bone chilling winds from the South. I'm from Victoria so I can give you a gauge, I'm trying to be objective, if you were coming here I'd be saying a coat for sure! X.

Cass is right! It's still a bit chilly here in august so bring some leggings, maybe a pair of jeans and a couple of light jumpers. But pack some shorts and shirts too because when it's sunny here, it's pretty hot even when it's chilly haha. :)
