Sooo this is really weird but for the hair down low, bikini season is coming out and um well it shows a bit on the sides 😁 should I shave?? My friend said not to because it will grow thicker and cover more around. I need help!!

It doesn't grow back thicker it just isn't as soft to the touch as it would be if you waxed. I think you should wax though bc it'll hurt more shaving the first time.

It only seems thicker because when you shave you make the edges of the hair more blunt as apposed to their natural tapered shape. I would recommend shaving and if you're not completely comfortable just shave your Bikini area (put on bikini bottoms and shave anything that shows. Also consider waxing. I personally don't think you NEED to shave completely unless you're sexually active, keeping it trimmed should suffice! Shaving down there too young can make the skin rougher and more prone to wrinkles.

I don't think you need to shave even if you are sexually active, the hair can actually keep STDs and bacteria getting into it. But you don't have to fully shave it, just shave the side bits and trim it.
