Powder foundations tend to look dry and patchy if you don't moisturize before applying it & if you have dry skin. But if you don't have dry skin, I find that it works well :) liquid foundation is basically the same, it could look really oily on some skin types but also very dry on others, it all depends on the foundation. You have to find what works for you :)

Generally powders tend to be light to medium coverage but there are some that claim to give full coverage such as tarte and cover fx (which is what I use) whereas liquid can give light to full depending on the application. I personally prefer powder even though my skin's on the drier side with the exception of my t zone because I feel like liquid clogs my pores and my skin feels claustrophobic. I don't really like primer because of the same reasons.

Personally, I use liquid foundation with pressed powder over it for a flawless full coverage 😊
