Yes! I agree thank you for commenting I know this has been asked a million times I was just looking around at some of the other ladies pics on here and some are clearly photo shopped you know? I try to remain normal and natural but that doesn't get likes and stuff so I don't know

Yeah, I think it's quite sad that natural, unedited beauty isn't as well appreciated in today's society as it should be. I think that editing (such as filters) is fine and I don't have a problem with that, but to photoshop something within an inch of its life is really sad and that people shouldn't have to feel like editing is necessary in order to receive appreciation.

I'm glad somebody said something about this, because its getting a tad bit ridiculous, I mean when you can see that winged eyeliner has clearly been placed on an eye using Photoshop it's like come on now? Who you think you fooling? Lol. I personally dislike ppl using Photoshop/Beaute app, to edit their pics and claim that they use it to "Enhance" the picture quality, or use it to make the makeup look better. If you don't have the skills you don't have the skills :/ don't take the easy way out, work on your technique and application it may take a while, but your going to get there.Were all trying to take our skills to that next level. Your right it seems like those pics get the most attention/ likes, Girl I don't know either.
*Before anybody gets offended, this is just MY personal opinion, if you ain't Photoshopping don't get mad, lol*

ELISA took the words right out of my mouth. But I won't lie there have been days when I want to use photoshop because I want all those likes on my IG and FB page. But I never do. I paid £2,400 on my makeup course and I'm not going to lose out because I choose to buy photoshop.
But get me the most are big labels that advertise the same girls IG account over and over and I'll see other really talented MUA's tagging them into their work and getting hardly any loven back.

I don't even know what y'all mean by filter is it like a soft focus or a resolution thing? Which is all good and OK if ppl wanna do that but it's the taking it to the extreme that got me looking at 'em sideways, lol.

Girl don't do it, resist the temptation, lol. You use that education,skill and technique! Imagine all the girls that use Photoshop on their pics on like you said IG or FB, get a client (s) based on those pics, then appointment day comes around and the work they do on the client is looking all sorts of crazy, they gonna be in trouble, lol.

I'm glad you like my MU, I'm trying, and not charging like some chicks, who ain't trying but charging, lol. Ppl ask me if I'm a MUA and I'm quick to say no, I haven't earned the right to claim that title, I'm an Aspiring Makeup artist and a MU enthusiast, that's still learning. But I'm not going out there till I feel I really got it on lock, cause that's not fair to me or the client.
