What is the best foundation for oily skin? I keep breaking out and have added moisturiser into my daily routine finding that now my skin is even more oily :-/ I use a very light moisturiser as a base but find my foundation / bb cream looks very shiny and looks thick... advice please girls!! x

Look into hourglass mineral veil primer. This stuff keeps me mostly matte all day but sometimes I do have to blot. Its amazing. What kind of foundation are you using right now??

Depending on how good or bad my skin is I use no7 bb cream or a maybeline foundation... forget the name (it comes in a small glass tub) but mostly use the bb cream x

Hi belinda, I've got combination skin that gets quite oily throughout the day and the best foundation that I've tried so far for keeping oil at bay is revlon colour stay,it also gives good coverage, I use Rimmel stay matte powder on top and it lasts well throughout the day :-)

Thank you mhairi! I rarely really wear proper foundation and sometimes want that full coverage ( specially at the moment :-/) so choosing a foundation that will suit my skin is like the very first time I brought my own tampons! :-/ thanks I'll check this product out!! x

Try using the primer that I suggested or a setting powder on top. Sometimes blotting is the only answer too!

I'm loving MUFE mat velvet at the moment, my other favorites are Estée Lauder double wear and dermablend for full coverage that leaves a matte finish and lasts all day :) I have oily/combo skin that is sensitive n acne prone.

Make sure you use a oil free moisturizer, I like two foundations for oily skin, that is revlon and revlon color stay, I'll post a pic I'm not sure if it's sold any more.

I have combinated skin. I wear the Kat Von D Lock it Tatoo Founation and it works very good for me. I wear less than a pomp because is full coverage. Is kind of a matte foundation which I think it will help for your oily skin. Also it lasts all day and doesn't look cakey if you use just a little. I hope it help!

I know this may sound a bit weird but milk of magnesia girlll! In the summer I'm suppperr oily and I put this on after my primer just before my foundation and not one bit of oil comes thru! YouTube it to see how ppl apply it but it works wonders! Goodluck!
