I have sensitive dry skin, I didn't warm it up I just put it straight on my face. Is that the incorrect way to do it? I wanna clear my skin not break out! 😁

Dumb question, if I melt the oil, does that make it any less comedogenic?

I use it on my face occasionally ,it depends on your skin if your already acne prone then your face will probably breakout even if your using non comedogenic products ,anything can make you breakout,I wouldn't use it all the time and I would make sure to cleanse your skin well

I only use it in my hair and for a makeup remover. I use it during a prepoo and a detangler. I use it as a sealant for what ever moisturizer I put in my hair.

I have very acne prone skin and it's actually worked out well for me. I use the smallest amount mainly before I go to sleep. I'm also on my first week of oil pulling with it which is great for clearing up the skin. I use it as a general body moisturiser, on my hair too. There are many many benefits to it, just be cautious when using it on your skin though as everyone reacts differently. Also warm it up in your hands before you apply it, it tends to melt within a few seconds. Also great for the cuticles. :)

I`ve heard a lot of people break out on their face from using it but they`re okay to use it on other places of their body. I like using it on my face occasionally but I just find it way too greasy for my face. Coconut oil is not a moisturizer but it locks in moisture so try to apply it immediately after taking a shower. You can use it in your hair but watch out if your hair is oily then it might make you look more oily. I use it on my legs twice a day and it has dramatically faded my scars.

Don't use it Jacqlyn if it give you cystic acne I would just pass on it , especially after you are all clear you don't want another flare up.

I use it as a hair mask and it helps so much. I only do it every couple of weeks but when I use it I just saturate my ends with it and leave it set for a couple hours then wash it out. It makes my hair so soft :) you could use a small amount as a styling oil too. I have tried it on my face and I didn't love it. It just kind of sat there and at other times it absorbed too quickly and left my skin feeling dry. You can use it to shave with though. Or remove makeup with it.
