^I've heard a couple of people say that it's bad for your hair to sleep on it when it's wet
But I've never known why
I take showers at night because I don't like the feeling of not being clean when I go to sleep and I do sports and gym everyday of the week (also I'm to lazy to wake up early to have showers plus my hair takes like 4 hours to air dry and it looks kinda wonky when its natural) haha

It really depends...if your hair is damaged, then it is very prone to breakage when it is wet. Then you move around in your bed and your hair wipes against your pillow and can break. If your hair has no damage at all, I don't think sleeping with it wet would be a problem.

Yes a silk pillow case will definitely help! Cotton sucks moisture out of your hair and also the rough texture isn't good for your hair especially when it's wet, in it's weakest state. Satin pillow cases have a smooth surface and it just feels great overall! I wouldn't sleep with my hair soaking wet tho lol that's uncomfortable maybe in a braid to keep it from getting tangled and it will look cute when you wake up.
