There's so many beautiful hairstyles that involve French braiding. I've watched so many tutorials on French braiding, and i just can't get it right. I can braid normally, but once it comes to French braiding, i can't do it! Anyone have tips or tricks to make French braiding easier?? Thanks!!

Haha I was this same way too! My problem was trying to think about all of the steps at once and then getting confused. Do it one step at a time and focus solely on that. Take the top piece, pull some loose hair, put over the middle, etc. take it slow and just focus on piece by piece. It's SO easy once you get the hang of it. I learned by doing it side by side with my best friend because tutorials never helped me lol. Maybe try that! Good luck! :) practice makes perfect!

It's just like regular braiding: outside to the center, rotating sides. The only difference is adding hair from each side. I agree, don't think about all the other stuff going on. That will happen automatically. I like hair to be a little damp too. It helps the hair to stick together and lay flat. It looks kind of school girlish, but good to practice with.
