I still have very visible scars from the summer from bug bites. I want to get rid of them before shorts weather because many people mistake them for selfharm... How can I get rid of them and please don't suggest bio-oil, I havent heard very good things about it.

You can't get rid of scars but you can prevent them from becoming more apparent by wearing sunscreen and when they are on the face wear a hat. I have a huge amount of scars on my legs from an injury that happened when I was just 5. I just cover them up with makeup. It's hard but honestly I learned that I notice my flaws more than other people and trust me my scars are really long and bold!

Just try doing research, since there are plenty of ways to remove scars with things like honey and nutmeg. I've done some reading and the honey and nutmeg mixture is said to help with scars.

Well Ashley when I had a lot of scars on my legs and feet from bug bites during camping I used bio oil and they dissapeared in 2 weeks so ya bio oil works for me

Its from bug bites!! Don't worry @megan!! I'm like a bug magnet haha people mistake them for self harm.

@megan h. Mine are huge... I had them like forever from an accident I was in when I was 5. I guess there is a difference if its from a bug night or from metal because I remember the dr. Putting cream and SPF on them to prevent them from severely scaring. They are pretty bad. I can't wear shorts or mini skirts because they show to much if them. But like I said in my previous post: "I learned that I notice my flaws more than other people and trust me my scars are really long and bold!!"
