Try a deep conditioning treatment, it sounds like your hair really wants moisture.. I used the L'oreal 5 repair treatment and it made my hair so soft
I tried so many products that claim to define curls.. I've tried gel, mouse, puddings, etc.but I really like the foxy curls cream by bedhead
Put coconut oil on the ends of your hair, sleep with it braided to prevent breakage
Also, John Frieda shampoos and conditioners are excellent, that's my curly hair routine!

Coconut oil hun works wonders for my curly hair which is also very dry. I soak my hair in it on a sunday as I don't go out and wash off on the evening :)

I do hot oil treatments once a week. Heat 1/8-1/4 cup of olive oil depending on your amount of hair. Heat it for 15-30 seconds in a microwave. Apply all over your head generously. Rub a tiny bit into your roots and massage it. Leave it on for 1-2 hours and rinse well. You may want to shampoo twice if your hair still feels greasy after. It leaves my once damaged curls super soft and healthy looking:)

I had that problem too, until I started reading ALOT about hair and all you really need is a conditioner. Leave some on before you get out of the shower. Like a lot on. Because when you squeeze the water out, some of it stays in. Get rid of all of your hair products that contain Silicones and Sulfers. That is very harsh and damaging for curly hair. And don't dry your hair with a towel. Get a T-Shirt and plop your hair (reduces frizz) or a Micro-Fabric Towel. If you shower everday, don't shower with shampoo everyday and ALWAYS use your conditioner. It's nothing expensive really. Doing that will make your hair really soft and not frizzy, and defined. Hope it works, let me know. :)

I agree with the coconut oil! But honestly clear shampoo and conditioner (I use the damage repair but any are great) make my hair the softest its ever been!! Every time I try anything different my hair just looks like crap, and I have to go back to it lol, definitely try it out and they're not too expensive!! :D.

My hair was really dry with so many dead ends after bleaching and straightening it for so long and I noticed my curls weren't the same. My hair didn't curl properly so I got most of my hair cut off to have fresh ends and now my hair is so much better and my curls are pretty much how they were before I started to straighten it. :)

So just cut the ends regularly and use treatments and serums like morrocan oil for example.

Try to stay away from products that contain alcohol and try using sulfate-free shampoo. Also, try doing an olive oil treatment in your hair before shampooing. If possible, don't wash your hair everyday. Take good care of your ends and make sure you get split ends trimmed. The ends of your hair can make curls look amazing or terrible! Finally, give it time! If you used to straighten/relax your hair regularly, the bonds in your hair that make it curly have been broken somewhat probably (this is how women "train" their hair to be straight). After a few months you will start to notice your your curls come back. Hope this helps 😊

To define my curls I use argan oil and then wrap it up with a old shirt, its sofer for your hair to use a tshirt, towels are sometimes to rough.
