I just purchased the cover fx natural finish oil free foundation and I am so excited! I try it out today, but this may be a stupid question that I have! Haha how long should you try the foundation and see if it is working for you or causing a reaction? My face is sensitive/ somewhat oily/ and acne prone! Do you ladies have any other suggestions for foundations/primers in mind that can work for my skin type? Please help! I just want to have a legit make up routine!

I always give it a few wears. If I notice a negative change in my skin, I skip it a week and try again. Same reaction? I return it. Most stores permit a return within 30 days so I never rush. I test new face products independently to ensure I can identify which product is causing an issue or bringing about even positive change. As for primer, Hourglass Mineral Veil is excellent. I'd ask for a sample prior to a purchase as it is pricey.

Thank you for answering rozberry!! That is a good idea to test products independently, I never thought of that! Lol and I will try to get a sample of the hourglass primer as well! I have heard great things about that primer so it has to be something I will check out and get a sample of!

Thank you for answering mairead! That is very helpful information as well! I will give it a few tries and then come back to it! My red irritated face is still recovering from the mineral powder foundation I used so giving it a break will be a good thing after I try this foundation a few times!

Oh thank you rozberry!! Lol I know it was pretty bad!! I should have realized it sooner! But it was the bare minerals powder foundation so I really wanted to like it! Lol but my face didn't like it so much!
