Previously, I called it apple red, but I realized I wanted more of a blood red. Does anybody here know of any good blood red hair dyes (I mean dark reddish maroon blood, not bright and punky) that are quality and not Splat? Should I just get my hair colored by a stylist instead?

You could try sallys they have nice rv colors and loreal hight lifts are nice reds too but only for dark hair if you have dark hair neither will work if you already have color in your hair though.

Thanks, you two. My hair is naturally blonde and currently colored, but still thanks yvette! Also, Renay, I didn't realize that. It's beautiful, so it makes sense!
I'll probably end up going to a stylist, but if anybody still has any blood red recommendations, I'd love them.

Well the ion colors from sallys will still work if your coloring darker than what you already have but going to the salon would be best especially if your unsure of the undertones your mixing

My hair was a similar colour to this (it's now purple) I used live colour xxl in real red though there are other reds. If that doesn't work Sally's have gorgeous reds! Hope that helps :)

Definitely try the Ion color brilliance brights or other reds from Sally's. whatever you do DONT USE SPLAT HAIR DYE. it's bright but fades quick and is super damaging
