I think that middle school or around then is good. I got into eyeliner and mascara around sixth grade, and didn't get into Palettes and whatnot until eighth grade. I got the first naked palette and ever since then I've started wearing and experimenting with more and more makeup. When just starting, I think it's important to use the basics. Eyeliner, mascara, etc. And once you've mastered the basics I think that's a good time to expand onto other things. I think foundation should wait until 8th-freshman year, however. But that's just me.

Even little girls like to experiment with makeup. Personally, I would like to think that I would let my kids start wearing makeup about 13, starting with the basics like pressed powder, blusher and mascara. If they can wear it well and responsibly, I'd let them try more things. :)

I started wearing makeup in grade 7 (mascara, eyeliner and foundation) but you can start whenever.
Don't get pressured into it, what's the point of wearing makeup if you're not comfortable with it? Makeup is to make you feel confident and beautiful.
If you start wearing it early, that's great! You would have more experience than others. But make sure you're not caking it on, because makeup is for enhancing your features not covering it.
So any age in conclusion :)

There's never a time that you 'should' wear makeup but it's intirely up to youu and depends on if your allowed at school or not

I think as a little girl (like 5-9) you can experiment with like those little kiddies eyeshadow and lipgloss palletes, but full-on makeup at around 14. Saying that, I don't even wear full-on makeup now as I hate and don't feel the need for foundation/powder/bb/cc cream or any type of coverup, however many do, and if it's for their own self-confidence issues and makes them feel better about themselves, then I see no reason why they shouldnt wear it younger. I'm 16 and only wear mascara and eyeliner, occasionally eyeshadow and lipstick, but I've just never felt the need for full-on makeup, however different to my peers at school who feel the need to slap it on. I'm a gymnast and go to the gym a lot, which has probably influenced my decision as being a gymnast is not a looks-competitive sector and wearing makeup whilst at the gym or during gymnastics is pointless.
On the other hand, if makeup makes YOU feel more confident and comfortable in yourself, then wear as much as you please. But wear makeup for YOURSELF, not for others.

Should is a VERY loaded word. There isn't an age anyone should start wearing makeup per say, it's all about personal choice.
Personally, in the instance that I have a daughter (and with my family genes I probably will have three) makeup will be a gradual thing that I will teach them. Starting with lipglosses and gradually moving up to lipsticks. I would imagine by sophomore year of highschool I'll let them get their first palette, or whenever they know and understand that they don't need makeup and are beautiful without. I don't want to get them started on makeup and think that they NEED it and aren't pretty without it.

I started experimenting with makeup in seventh grade but I didn't really get serious about it until my freshman year. I wear normal makeup (foundation eyeliner mascara and on special days lipstick and eyeshadow) but you don't have to be a certain age to wear it. And you're gorgeous so you really don't need that much if anything

13 years old. It's when you become a teenager. But not like all those palettes and Sephora stuff. Just probably drugstore brands.

I won't let my daughter (when I have one) wear makeup in public until she's 15/16. I personally began wearing eyeliner/mascara at 13 or 14. & nothing more than that (by choice) until I was like 18 unless it was a special occasion. I still don't wear it on a daily basis & I'm 22.

I didn't start till I was 15 /16 I'm glad I did wait because I don't have to worry as much as girls who wear a ton of stuff on their faces because they started sooner than I did.

I was 12/13, everyone has their own opinion about this but I think that you've to be first of all ready for it. But well yea its a fact that if you start using makeup at young ages your skin can get damaged.
