Cute! what's racist about Peter pan? I haven't seen it in a long time so I can't even remember what would be racist in it lol.

I never knew that. or that it happened in like all Disney movies. that's pretty sad they'd put stuff like that in kid's movies.

Not to justify racism at all, but we have to remember that Peter Pan was written and takes place during a time when those attitudes were prevalent and not seen as offensive; the same is true of the Disney film. If we evaluate everything through our current cultural lens, we lose a lot of the enjoyment from older cultural artifacts. Enjoying Peter Pan (either the novel or the Disney film) does not condone racism unless you actively decide that racism is okay. As long as you understand that those social mores presented in the original work have changed, there's no harm done. For what it is worth, I am mixed ancestry Cherokee and Choctaw (along with Irish, Austrian, German, and English) and I don't see a point in finding fault in the story now, over 100 years after it was written and is set.
Anyway, back on topic: I love that Tinkerbell tattoo! Peter Pan is my favorite novel, and she is such a rich and vibrant character (much more than what is presented in any of the films). She's a cheeky little beyotch, lol. I love the placement of your tattoo as well; almost like it is a secret.
I have no idea what the other one is (I don't listen to Greenday) so I can't comment.

@Emily I agree. it happened, and if it werent for literature or entertainment portrayed through the eyes of those living in that era, how would anyone today understand the culture, both good and bad?

You're soo lucky ;) I am from small country in Europe, so no chances for me to see it live. However I saw some videos on youtube and I thought it must have great atmosphere, so I wanted to ask someone who actually was there :)
