So recently I've been hearing a lot of people talk about eyebrow threading. I was wondering what it actually is and the pros and cons in comparison to waxing.

Threading has less pain but has a longer process than waxing.

Well, threading is fixing and making your eyebrows look beautiful even though you're practically shedding tears cause it hurts, with a string. But it's totally worth it at the end cause they look more defined and it's healthier for your skin than waxing.

Personally I think threading hurts way way more than waxing any area of your body. Threading is when a person takes a piece of theead wraps it around their fingers then twists it around back and fourth on the area they are threading and pulls all the hairs out on that area. Yes it is faster but it hurts way more than waxing for me. It also lwaves that area really red just like waxing does. It is very cheap to get it done to and they can actually shapes your brows how you want them which is a bit difficult to dp with wax. I'd say if you were thinking about getting it done do it. go try it out see if you like it and if you don't just pluck of wax your brows then.

I agree. Waxing is a slice if you stay on top of it.

I get mine threaded, and love it. It hurts a little but so does waxing and it's much faster than waxing.

Here is a pro's and cons list.
Threading
Pros:
Not much pain, fairly inexpensive depending on location, more accurate, does not pull a layer of skin off like waxing does, takes less time to get back to normal skin color, etc...
Cons:
It does hurt a bit, takes more time than waxing...
I hope this helped!:) Overall I recommend threading purely because I just think it is a more accurate way of removing body hair and produces the best results. I personally will never go back to waxing.:)))))

Also with waxing it can give you sagging skin and if you have dry skin it can literally give you scabs! I avoid it lol.

Threading hands down. Threading gives you this look that just can not be achieved with waxing. I have walked into my threading place with a line of hair (I used to seriously overpluck) and I walked out having fuller looking and sharp brows. It's magic.
While everyone has a different pain tolerance, it's a safe statement that threading is generally more painful than waxing. I can get a wax and not even move a muscle, but I've been getting threaded for the past few years and I'm still not used to the pain. But to me, it's worth it. Threading also lasts a lot longer. I can go at most close to three weeks before needing to get threaded again. With waxing I see a lot of new hairs after only a week and a half.
They are typically very close in price. My nail salon charges $9 for an eyebrow wax. The Brow Bar (name of my place) charges $12 for a threading- but if you go on a Monday or Tuesday it is only $9.

Threading can hurt more but makes your eyebrows look more clean in my opinion. With waxing the hairs grow back faster to me. Depends on your pain tolerance.

Thanks ladies for all your help, it sounds like I'm going to have to give threading a try.
