Actually, I love this! you turn it on, and use it just like you would a round brush, just don't wrap your hair all the way around the tool, like you would a curling iron. it adds a lot of oomph to flat hair, but to use it, your hair needs to be about 80 percent dry already. I don't own one anymore, but my mom had one that I used every day to finish styling my hair.
