My hair grows at a fairly average pace I assume, but I never see any length! I have curly hair that I straighten so I can tell it grows because my roots grow in textured , but it doesn't show in the entire length of my hair.

Okay that's really quite mysterious... but you have to keep in mind that it needs quite some time for your growth improvement to show in the length of your hair. I know that because I colour my hair and I often see ny roots, but I needs quite some time till I see any improvement in the general length of my hair. maybe you're just too impatient :)

Hey Ashley M. I will advice tht you must first oil your hair with sesa oil then wash your hairs with soapnuts also known as reetha tht your can search and easily find in any Indian store. Soapnuts are the nuts tht you have to grinde n mke powder I thnk you can also get the soapnuts in powdered form.. you must use it by dissovlng powder in water and make a foam then use it as shampoo n wash or you can also use salsun shampoo tht for dandruff but also increases your hair lenght tht work.. I hope you tht wuld be helpful to you gudbye.

It's not actually a mystery lol. Our hair growth is dependent on genetics, the weather, stress level and health. As well as how we take care of it. My mom is a hairstylist of 25 years. She always tells me that, hair growth has a limit that is monitored by genetics. The reason why everybody's hair isn't dragging on the floor is once hair reaches it's potential, it breaks off and doesn't continue to grow any longer. It just stays that length once it gets the limit. Some lengths aren't totally set in stone. People can have hair that's one length for years then they try a new regimen and see growth. That's them growing their hair to their potential. It's not some amazing feat. You can take the best care of it, but hair still has a limit. Genetics is the biggest factor in hair length.

No one is arguing with you, simply offering another solution to the problem is all.

It is! And we understand that, no one is saying your advise is invalid or isn't true at all. Both are solutions to a question that has many answer possibilities.
