Hello Lovelys! So a freind of mine had just ordered some Vaseline online (I know strange order but it seemed sensible then. We can never find them in drug stores or shoppes) But I accidently clicked on it twice so I got an order of 12 Vaselines! (Each pack was 6) AND I waited too long to return so it got me wondering, how many uses does Vaseline have? The only uses I know for it is moisturizing the lips, but I didnt want to waste all of the Vaseline or just use it for one thing. So I'm going to turn this into an experiment!
Please list anything you can think of! I have way too much I can't bare it! :P

I use vaseline to moisturize my cuticles and the skin around my nails. I heard it can be used to remove make up but haven't tried it thay way.

I do not recommend using Vaseline on your skin. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Read this below.:) And have a good day.:)))

Vaseline is a sealant rather than a moisturizer. Since it petroleum based, I don't use it in my skincare, but I do love it for keeping my leather jackets and shoes from scuffing and it adds a bit of a water protection barrier. Great on boots as well. When coloring hair, it can be used along the hairline to keep color from staining skin.

You can use it on your eyebrows if your hair growth on your eyebrows grows upwards :) if you use a little bit every day it will teach the hair growth the grow over and not to grow upwards if that makes sense heheh ❤️

I mix it with sugar and oil sometimes to make a lip scrub.

Vaseline isn't moisturizing for your lips. it's not going to moisturize anything because it's a sealant. meaning it just seals in the moisture that's already there. the only use I really know is to help diaper rash lol.

Vaseline does jot make hair grow any faster. Nothing does, it is determined by your genetics.

Everything Makenzie, Rozeberry, and Kat said.

It does not moisturize, it does not make your hair grow, and please don't put it on your lashes.

Everything Erin, Makenzie, Rozberry and Kat said. Vaseline is not the amazing holy grail product everyone wants to believe it is. It doesn't really do anything lol. Doesn't moisturize, doesn't make your hair grow, doesn't do anything. It's a filler companies use as a base in their products because it's cheap. It has no real benefits at all. I don't buy products that have it in it anymore if I can help it.

I beg you to not put it on your skin or lashes...

Jayde, Vaseline on your lashes can lead to clogged ducts, sties, and conjunctivitis. It doesn't have any benefit, and you are putting your eyes at risk. Please, don't keep using it.

If you have dry patchy skin, it works well on it… it doesn't make me breakout or have oily skin I have "normal" skin too.
Putting a clean mascara brush in Vaseline can soften your lashes n also grow them. I do that.
If you have rough elbows… leave Vaseline on them a thin amount so you can go out n do things.

You could use it as an emergency cream for ashy feet, elbows & knees. It won't evaporate like most water-based creams & lotions. You could also use it on your feet overnight. First shower & moisterize, then when the moisterizer on your feet has absorbed, put the Vaseline over it & put on some fluffy socks & go to sleep. The Vaseline will lock in the moisterizer so it doesn't evaporate so quickly. You could also do your hands but I wouldn't recommend this for your face, because most people will break-out if the oils in their pores are sealed in.

It's not beauty related..but it is a use for vaseline so I'll throw it out there because 12 is quite a bit haha. You can use it before painting furniture for an aged look ( see pintrest ) and a ton of other crafts actually. just an idea ;)
