Anything on eBay or Amazon is fake. Including tanning lotions, which I learned and was pissed.

There are A LOT of fake Mac products. I know because I bought Mac Studio Fix Foundation from amazon, and the consistency of the product was so watery. The coverage was awful so I called a Mac support center and they told me that I should be careful about the "Mac" products they sell online (not at Mac's official website) because a lot of the products are fake or tampered with. Be careful because, like Rachel said, there can be harmful chemicals in there.

If you're going to buy a brand name beauty product (self tanner, makeup, eye creams, tan lotion, nail polish) from eBay or Amazon, there is a high chance that it is fake!! Even makeup brushes. Same with purses and such. The only way you can be sure a product is authentic is buying it in the actual store.

I agree with the above comments! Years ago when I first got into make up I ordered some Mac online and got things that just didnt seem right. After taking it to a local counter they laughed and said it is one of the biggest makeup scams out there. Also, like they said a lot of those factories are in China and can contain some harmful chemicals. ;(

I wouldn't even use that eyeshadow. I would toss it. Fake make-up has been known to contain high levels of arsenic and lead. Whether its nail products or face products the stuff just is not safe. If used it may not cause damage that you can physically see but if you look up arsenic and lead poisoning....does some ugly things internally. Sorry you were duped Arianna S. and shame on Amazon and Ebay for allowing this garbage to be sold.

Yes, ppl Mac is expensive, so no it's not right that ppl tamper with stuff before you buy it. But to say that everything is fake on Amazon is a stretch at best. Because makeup goes on my face, I only but it at Sephora or Ulta because I love my face more than saving a few bucks. Lol

I've ordered plenty of tanning lotion off amazon/other tanning sites, as have the people at the tanning forum I belong to. I've never gotten a fake!

Not everything MAC is fake on eBay. Most of it, yes, but not all. TheSublimeAgent has a video just for legitimate MAC sellers on eBay.
