I had the same problem the at home stripper did nothing I ended up having to go to the hairdressers to get it stripped there it cost quite a bit to be honest. If I was you I wouldn't use another at home stripper for a while because they can really damage your hair. If you use treseme shampoo its ment to be good for stripping colour from hair. I hope this helps a bit :)

Well you can like if you hair is yellow and you died it black go ahead and dye it yellow or the color of your hair , I hope it works :)
