Insecure about my lip shape! Is that unreasonable?

My lips make me look like I'm in a permanent bad mood. My top lip is so much smaller then my bottom, and I'm wondering if there's any way I could even it out a bit? Would a plumping product still work if only applied on my top lip? Or could I try to fake plump it by lining just outside my lip line, would that work?
I also have a small freckle like mark on my bottom lip that many people stare at in disgust thinking I have a permanent cold sore or something.
Is it strange to be insecure about your natural lip shape?
(Sory that I'm kinda all over the place with these questions.)

OMG I have the same thing my top lip is really small compared to the bottom one. It's reasonable to be insecure about it but I think it looks fine!

My upper lip is basically non existent its not weird to be insecure about it. I think it would be weird to put lip plumper just on the top because it would be glossy only on the top but you could definitely outline outside your natural lip line.

You can base your lips and the surrounding skin with a lip primer or concealer. use lip liner to create your desired lip shape then fill in with the liner and lip stick.. the concealer or primer should help hide the scare... there is a brand of lip gloss called Dimond lip treatment.. they smell like rice crispies and has a like fake Dimond on it.. adds instant plump to your lips... boy I miss that lip gloss lol use it over your lips color or by itself

My top is smaller than my bottom. Its completely normal. Your lips look just fine. When I see top/bottom lips that are the same proportion I wonder if they have botox injections going on. It used to bother me when I was younger but I always think it could be a lot worse...like my classmate who lost a portion of her lips in dog mauling. I always think about someone in far worse situation than myself and it keeps the insecurities at bay.

Your lips are cute!! But if your worried just line outside your top lip a little bit and that will make them appear fuller. :)
