I have hair that is fairly fine and I could really use some more volume to it. Any ideas? Products? Tips or tricks?

When you're blow drying your hair blow your hair in the opposite way that you want it to lay on your head. That will give it some volume at the base

Inexpensive but can't exactly remember the price but I use Got2B root booster and blowdry my hair upside down completely dry and brushing it. Then wait until it cools and brush out all the tangles and thento section your hair and spray a tiny bit of hairspray at the roots of each section and tease lightly (the further you go up the hair shaft to the ends the fuller your hair will be, I always make it a bit bigger than I plan to actually want it as it will settle into place while you are finishing other sections, and if you tease your hair right you won't have a huge tangled rats nest lol, there are TONS of videos on youtube showing how to properly tease your hair you could check those out) anyway do not brush out the teased strands until you are completely done teasing your hair and the little bit of hairspray you used on your roots throughout teasing the strands is completely dry, then lightly brush the top layers of your hair into your desired style and shape, and mist with a shine serum LIGHTLY, or maraccon oil, do NOT spray these things on your roots. Your roots produce oils naturally, adding more oils will only weigh down your hair and defeat the purpose of all the above. You could also try a vinegar (apple cider vinegar) rinse after shampooing your hair. And when conditioning your hair inly condition the ends not your roots :) And use a little clarifying shampoo once a week to thoroughly remove all built up products that you have used throughout the week. Also use a volumizing shampoo. Hope I helped :)

straighten it at the root the opposite way that it falls! for example, on the right side of your head, pull a strand of hair up, position the flat iron at the root and flip it towards the left side of your head. Clip it to that side until it cools. hairspraying it helps but you don't really need to. I do this all the time and people always comment on how volumized my hair is! Try it out! hope this helps.

Salt spray and dry shampoo to soak up the oils in your scalp/hair! Usually the reason why we have flat hair in the first place :)

I have fine hair as well so I have to create volume most of the time unless I'm having a good hair day! Lol my secret weapon is my back combing brush that I got from Sally's. it was very inexpensive & it works like a dream for back combing! In a hurry I just brush side to side where I want volume, pull my hair up in a messy bun & I'm out the door !! Hope this helps you:-)
