It's contents. Though sold as a "good for your skin" product, it has mineral oil in it which clogs pores, whether you have dry skin or oily. When this happens, you end up with dead skin cells on top of dead skin cells because you aren't able to generate new skin cells due to your pores being clogged. Not only that, it has absolutely no other beneficial quality to it other than being able to supply temporary moisture to the top layer of the skin. If you are biased to Clinique, they have several other moisturizers that have way more benefits for your skin, minus the oil.

I currently use it and at first I lived it because it feels so hydrating when you put it on but now that I realized, I don't know if it made my skin look dramatically different... and knowing now that it clogs pores scares me! it's up to you, test it out maybe at the Clinique counter before buying
