Hello everyone!
I have been researching and asking around about the very pin-up inspired Bettie Bangs. I am really tired of my hair and need a change. my hair is medium-thick and is wavey when it dries. any advice on weither or not this would work witn my face and hair?

Awe! Lucky sadly my hair is soo thick that it just doesn't work. I either have to use a small amount of "bangs" but then the rest of my hair gets mixed in soo bad, or enough to keep the long hai out of it but then my bangs are way to thick. :( but your hair would probably suit it soo well. And worse cones to worse it's just hair and will grow back ;)

Bettie herself had thick hair. Her bangs were created by combing a large section forward. It involves more effort on the part of the hairdresser, but works. Hair wax and killer spray keeps them on point.

Thanks Rozberry I'll really research my hair dresser next time I'm in the city, the ones here I'm suprised even know how to hold the shears!

Ugh. It can be scary. Sometimes a stylist steers you toward what they think is best for you rather than what you desire. Even with the best of intentions, I've also seen some clueless on vintage styles.
