You can take razors in your suitcase. I did many times. I'm not sure if airports have different regulations but I flew from alaska to Oregon and nothing happened...

If your want to be comfy yet look dressy, wear colored (best if pastel) skinny jeans or shorts. Those are dressy yet comfy.
