How to pack for a plane ride.

I'm leaving tomorrow on a plane and I need to pack, but I'm unsure of how to pack my liquids and what I should bring. I may just buy hair stuff there,but I'm unsure. So how do I pack my makeup and skin care, and also would I have to seal up a cream product (like moisturizer)? And I know the 3-1-1 thing btw. Thank you.

I always just pack my makeup in my checked luggage so I don't have to worry about them throwing it away or anything or have to put in special bags. And I always just separate dry stuff like eyeshadows and powders and liquids so they don't spill and I put them in a plastic baggies. This helps so it doesn't spill

This helps to and also if you can do solids (soap and shampoo, look at lush) its so much easier to travel with and not worry about spilling
