Anywhere from 30 to over night depending on how much time I got... normally like 2-3 hours.

Its very good for hair..and people with dry skin also use it on the face as a moisturiser..avoid using on your face if you have oily skin..people also use it to cook food..make up remover..though I did not try it as a make up remover..since I have oily skin I only use it on my hair :)

Get the unrefined cold pressed darlin, it makes a world of difference. It smells like fresh coconut and it's snow white in color, it keeps all the nutrients in that way. The refined is really only good for cooking.
