So I've sort of been slowly getting into makeup lately (I'm almost 17), and at the moment I use the Nude mineral powder but it doesn't offer very much coverage. I wanted to look at getting a proper foundation, mascara and contouring palette a well as some brushes. If any of you had any advice I would really appreciate it.
Also any looks you think would suit me would be fabulous
(I'm also in Australia so I know some things aren't available here)

You're adorable! But I agree with Jacqlyn W. Don't cover your flawless skin, maybe some blush, lip gloss, natural brown eyeshadows, mascara, and MAYBE some eyeliner...maybe..., and make sure your brows are nicely shaped :) that can change up your whole look!

What brand would you recommend?

We have most of the same drugstore brands but I think our high end ones are a bit different. We have ones like napoelean, set, Clinique, Estée Lauder, bobbi brown, Lancôme, benefit

My skin is pretty neutral, it doesn't really get too oily or too dry. I do get a few large pimples though and have red skin.

For brushes I would go with mac if you guys have it remember that quality iver quantity is always best, for contouring I would get the kevyn aucoin sculpting powder its great and to highlight the kevyn aucoin celeatial powder these where recomended by jaqueline h. and I'm just in love lol and for mascara, right now I'm using the l,oreal butterfly mascara and I can say I'm happy with it, it really separates the lashes.

Don't go just powder. It will clog your pores, also you say it is not enough coverage, so it's out of the question. Go with makeup forever foundation. Best stuff.
