My hair has been black for a long time and I want to switch it up... I want to do a dark deep red, or what do you suggest?

Keep in mind that red fades like crazy. I had my hair dyed red and it washed out in a week. I would recommend going a redish purple

I have bright red hair, the brand used on mine is an elumen, it's fantastic and takes a while to fade, even when it fades it's a really cool red.
