Can I exfoliate and then use a mask right after?

Is say yes as long as it's a gentle mask because your skin was just "roughed up" basically. Don't do like anything acidic :)

I just did that today! and I usually do it too. however I just try to do facemasks like once a week so its not too harsh. I usually do it on my days off bcs I have more time.

I do that once a month :) I have an entire spa routine planned out hahaha >< so you absolutely can but not more than twice a month and make sure to moisturize after. Also try to stick with a natural face mask because they tend to be more gentle, less drying, and less risk of irritation. This doesn't happen to everybody, but if you have sensitive skin and apply a face mask with chemicals after exfoliating it can really irritate and damage your skin :) if you'd like diy face mask recommendations for your skin type just let me know :D hope this helps

Yeah, just make sure its very gentle and not too drying. It helps if the mask is moisturizing too.

Instead of exfoliating I would consider doing a facial steam first to open and decongest your pores and then use an exfoliating mask if you want to. exfoliation doesn't really do anything helpful as far as being a good prepper for a mask.
