Ok so I got a pair of nude, patent Steve Madden pumps for my birthday, I wore them to a sweet sixteen and when I got home I noticed that one of the heels had a huge scrape on it. It's not just a scuff the patent finish actually scraped off. I need an easy DIY fix to get them back to normal! Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think there's a way to fix it cos it's nude and obvious. If it was black then you could do something. Why not return it? Do you have the receipt? I own few Steve Madden shoes from Nordstrom and I don't have probs with their leathers and the store have a good return policy.

Sometimes finding a matching nail polish shade and painting over it will fix a small shallow scuff but if its really deep and large you might need to find a shoe repair store

I don't think you can fix a scrape. I'm with Mylene, if you just bought them take them back with the receipt and ask for an exchange.

😔 And this is why I don't buy patent leather pumps anymore, my heels always somehow manage to get scraped. I'd try and return them, or find a shoe repair store.

I try to get away with using nail polish. Sometimes a Sharpee marker.

I would bring them to a shoe repair place.

Ugh, I do have receipt but the tag/ sticker on the bottom wore off, I think I'll try nail polish and then a store, thanks for the great ideas!
