Absolutely go for it! I'm not sure how tall 5'8 is, but my best friend is 180cm and she always wears heels and looks gorgeous! And I'm the short friend haha she always towers over me, even without heels!

Pfft, who cares! I'm almost 5'9", and I love wearing heels! My 5 inch platform stilettos make me so tall, and for me, gives me a confidence boost. Be happy that you're tall! If you can walk in them and not break your ankle and/or look like an awkward duck, and they make you look good, throw 'em on!
