Mac Red is fabulous! It's very underrated but its so flawless on my pale complextion. And like Jacqlyn mentioned, its blue toned so it will suits pale ladies perfectly.

I have that exact skin type, and my favorite lipsticks of all time are UD's Native, Venom, Turn On, and F-Bomb. For a nice matte blue toned red, try smashboxes Infrared. Milani's Violet Volt is also a nice orchid color which happens to be in this spring and is awesome against my pale pale skin! If you're looking for a drugstore red, Rimmel London's Kate Moss collection in #10 is almost an exact dupe for UD's F-Bomb.

First of all dark colors will recede and make your lips smaller. (Think lining you eyes black all around) so brights are the way to go! Cool toned fuschia and blue toned red. I recommend mac girl about town and ruby woo.
