I think it all depends on that brides personal style as well. I, personally, would prefer that if my makeup artist had an abundance of tattoos that they be mostly covered while she does my makeup... but that is entirely from a aesthetic photography place. I think anything that would distract from the bride- especially in photographs is a bad idea.

I ask because there is a stigma for artists with tattoos.
and bridal muas (from my experience) are held to a different standard. even tho it's totally the norm for muas in nyc to be covered in tattoos.
I recently got 2 hand tattoos and have been considering bridal and now I'm wondering if I've stunted my business.

Carolyn as long as your work is on point you will be fine don't worry, your work will speak louder then your tattoos =)
