Be yourself! if you want it go for it, who cares what anyone else says! I cut my hair like this a couple years ago, the stylist buzzed my neck hairs, now my hair like on the nape of my neck its crooked, like my hair line is way off place. so I would be careful with that. maybe ask her to just use scissors.
