Burgundy back to blonde?? How.

Hey all you beautiful ladyz :)
I dyed my hair burgundy about 3 months ago, now it faded to a light brownish red? and I hate it. I've decided this coloe is way to hard to keep up with, even though I loved it when I was first done. I want my blond hair back.. could any of you girls give me advice on how to get my blond hair back for summer..? thanks :)

Dye it blonde again or dye it a harsher blonder so it becomes light on your hair. Itl take a few months for like the size of your finger for the dye to come out. I dyed my hair blonde and its going to take 1 year for me to get back to my natural colour.

When I had dark hair and wanted to go back to blonde my hairdresser did a whole head of highlights and it looked like the blonde I had before. Hopefully that helps! :)

@monique foreal? I think this color is sooo weird. and it isnt shiny anymore with the blonde you got that pretty shine, I had it at first with the burgundy too but now my hair just looks so dull.

@Kimberly. Yes!! Idk about that exact color. I don't NOT like it but I don't love it. Lol. But overall I like the darker hair on you!! :) maybe like a chocolatey medium brown or something. If that makes sense. 😁

You would have to remove that hair color first by applying a color remover like color oops (drugstore) or L'oreal colorzap (Sally's beauty supply). It will strip that color and leave it probably orange. You would then have to bleach and tone multiple times. Sounds intense but going blonde is no joke.

Noo babe it woudnt trust me I've had orange hair lol!! The only reason why your hair would go orange is because when you first dye your hair your natural colour dosent take to the dye. And when you dye it again and go over the process it goes orange and then to te actual dye colour. BUT because you have already been dying your hair if you dyed your hair it would come out as the colour on the box

You need to bleach your hair , go to Sally's and ask them about it you will need a toner and such

Bleach it and it'll have a red tone, but an ash toned blonde color as ash toned colors help cancel out the red toned :)s.
