Bare minerals should buy or not.

I'm planning to get the bare mineral started kit... There foundation is it worth it? I'm scared that it can look to powdery? Or not enough coverage? Color match I'm a nc30 in summer from mac and in winter a Fiji from nars sheer glow do you thing light would be too light? Help please any answer will really appreciate it.

I think the coverage is really good and it actually doesn't look powdery at all. I find it so much easier than liquid foundation. You can put it on so much quicker and it's not as expensive as some high end liquid foundations.

I've tried the original one and it looked powdery but that's because I used medium and I was an NC42 at the time, it was too light and it wasn't mine, my mom let me use hers when my regular foundation ran out but I used the warmth to deepen the color. I think it may be too light I'd go with medium as my mom was around an NC25. As far as the coverage I liked it although I didn't have that much to cover.

It works well as a finishing powder for me, the brush sheds a lot though. it works well with my real techniques kabuki brush.

I love bare minerals. so yes, its worth the money. go with medium. I don't like their brushes though. I find them to be scratchy and shed a lot. I just use the big flat top brush from ELF. works great and is cheap.

I love it but make sure you get the right color... As for brushes, I like using Elf Kabuki Brush:)

I am one of the few who isn't a Bare Minerals fan. I had to mix shades, found it messy and not enough coverage for me. However it works really well for many people. I do use their warm radiance at times to bring some warmth and depth to my face. And it's lasted me for years.

Works great, but I personally wouldn't recommend if your skin runs dry. Normal to oily...it's good stuff..particularly if you are acne prone. I'd use a quality primer that hydrates, like Laura Mercier, beneath it.

Bought the starter kit a few days ago. I was skeptical too. I like it a lot. Very light coverage! Not powdery at all. It's not meant to be applied heavily. It looks very natural. The primer is a must.
