I have tried going no poo, for several months, and it never worked out for me. I've tried organic shampoos and other products. I've tried oils and deep conditioning treatments. Nothing is helping my hair, so I feel like "starting over" is my only option left to try...
So what hair cuts could I potentially pull off? I have medium/dark brown, thick, curly hair. It is very dry, coarse, stringy and frizzy, mostly due to previous bleaching and heat damages. I really, really want to grow my hair out, but I think that if I cut it short-short and let it grow back naturally it will get longer and healthier quicker than if I just keep trying all sorts of different products and home remedies?
What are your thoughts, suggestions, tips? I'd prefer advice on hair cuts that would suit my face shape and hair type, but if you have anything that might help me out, please share! Thanks so much!

I also wear glasses, more often than contacts, if that would influence your advice at all. If you need any other information or pictures, just say so! :)

Thanks for the suggestions!! But, I think I need to go even shorter to cut off the dead and damaged hair :/ I know I don't have the face for a pixie cut, but any other ideas?
