I have never been confident in my ability to apply makeup on the knowledge I had. However, this site has helped me tremendously!! In December I actually signed up for a makeup course that taught me many things and I am not certified to do makeup in a professional setting (it was like a university class type of thing ). Honestly, I don't think I could have done it without this site. All the girls on here have made me feel confident in my ideas and my knowledge to put myself out there and not only learn more but apply what I already know! I'm actually (hopefully) going to be doing prom makeup for some of my friends now this year! I just wanted to update everyone and put out a huge thank you to this community of wonderful people!

Thats wonderful! :) And I feel similarly for Beautylish, you're pretty good at offering advice too, noticed your comments off and on, hope you go ahead, do your friends' makeup well and go become a pro if thats what you want. Good luck!  =)

What an exciting thing! I would love to do a little make up course.
I am literally brand new to this site and already I feel so welcome. There is no hate and it just seems like such a nice place for like minded people to get together and will really help with my blog ideas seeing what people like to talk about. Hannah M: if you want to do a makeup course there are plenty of online courses you can sign up for that certify you at the end... I personally did it through the college I'm attending for my art credit but there are online places that offer similar courses! I'll deff be checking out your blog!
